The evening started in a very Bill Belichick way.

North Carolina’s depth chart, distributed to the media, was blank.

It was classic Belichick, refusing to offer even a hint of what was to come, looking for any possible competitive advantage.

As it turned out, he needed a lot more help. All the big names in attendance, from Michael Jordan and Roy Williams to Randy Moss and Lawrence Taylor, and the considerable hype for his college debut, were quickly forgotten following an impressive first drive.
