Tearful Mikayla Nogueira Reacts to Comments Calling Her “Unattractive”
Mikayla Nogueira has a message for her critics.
The makeup influencer got candid during a recent “Get Ready With Me” video, where she opened up about the hate she receives on a recurring basis.
“I want to address something that’s been heavy on my mind for quite a while,” Mikayla began in a Sept. 18 TikTok. “My appearance and what I look like.”
The 27-year-old reiterated that she never uses filters on her videos, but there was still “constant confusion about why I look different in person than in my videos.”
“Let me make something very clear, I am aware that I’m not an attractive person,” she continued through tears. “I’m aware that I’m not aesthetically pleasing to look at, or like, photogenic. It’s really easy to take a bad photo of me.”
The TikToker—who first found fame on the platform in 2020—reiterated multiple times that she doesn’t consider herself to be conventionally “pretty,” adding, “transparently, there’s nothing I can do about that.”
