Police searching for suspect who allegedly stole bike from apartment complex in Cedar Park


AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Cedar Park Police Department seeks public help to find a suspect wanted in connection with allegedly stealing a bike from an apartment complex last month.

CPPD said on social media Monday the incident happened on Sept. 16 around 1:45 a.m. at the Redstone Ranch Apartments, 1600 S. Lakeline Boulevard, in Cedar Park.

Police also posted video showing the alleged suspect using cutters to cut the lock on the bike before grabbing and walking away with it. The bike is described as a dark gray Trek Marlin 5 mountain bike that has red lettering.

If anyone recognizes the suspect or has any information regarding the case, they are asked to contact CPPD at 512-260-4600. An anonymous tip can also be submitted on the Tip411 app, according to police.
