Liam Neeson’s Son Daniel Neeson Engaged to Natalie Ackerman

Daniel Neeson’s heart is taken.

The 29-year-old son of Liam Neeson and the late Natasha Richardson is engaged to his college sweetheart Natalie Ackerman. Daniel made things official during a sailboat cruise around New York City on Sept. 6.

“Yesterday I got to ask my best friend to join me on this journey called life,” Daniel told People in a statement confirming his engagement Sept. 7. “I could write novels on why I love Natalie, but there’s something deeper, something so cosmic about our relationship that I know we’re meant to be in this universe together.”

In part, the good Daniel sees in Natalie—who he began dating in 2017 during their time at Tulane University—reminds him of his late mother.

“I see my mother in Nat, I see life in Nat, and reality just got a whole lot sweeter with a ring on it.” he shared. “Love wins!”
