Austin Police SWAT deployed near Manor, 1 person in custody

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said on social media its SWAT team responded to “an incident” Wednesday morning near Blue Goose Road and US-290.
Less than 10 minutes later, APD said in a second post that the situation had ended. Officers took one person into custody, according to the follow-up post. APD didn’t say in the post if that person faces any charges.
A department public information officer was initially headed to the scene to provide a media briefing. However, with the situation resolved, APD recalled that officer and said additional details would be provided when it had more information.
No one was hurt during the SWAT team’s action, according to APD.
