APD searching for man connected with December robbery


AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit asked for the public’s help identifying a man involved in an aggravated robbery at a 7-Eleven gas station at 3801 W. Parmer Lane.

Authorities said the robbery took place on December 11, 2024.

The man had entered the gas station, pulled out a gun and demanded money and cigarillos from the clerk, according to the press release.

APD described the man as having a heavy build and being 6’0″ tall. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a stylized face, a black backpack, blue jeans that were faded and torn along with dark shoes.

If you have information that could help investigators please contact APD’s Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. APD said a reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
