21-year-old man convicted of murder in 2021 deadly Sixth Street shooting

A 21-year-old man accused of fatally shooting of Michael Carothers Jr., 17 in an October 2021 gunfight in downtown Austin was convicted of murder and deadly conduct, according to the Travis County District Attorney’s Office.
