Why Liberty don’t need Breanna Stewart to stress about 3-point struggles

PHOENIX — In the fourth quarter of Thursday’s victory over the visiting Mystics, Breanna Stewart flew past Emma Meesseman, who had tangled up with Kiki Iriafen and allowed Stewart plenty of space.

Stewart decelerated and pulled up for the triple.

From the moment the ball left Stewart’s fingers, Sandy Brondello knew it was a bull’s-eye.

“Good dip, good everything,” Brondello told The Post Saturday. “It was not rushed. She had time. … All of her mechanics were great.”
